hi what gearbox oil do i need for my wrx saloon 1992 k plate please? many thanks.

castrol syntrax/driveline seems to be one of the best for the subaru gearbox

Hi,

I have a Impreza GT turbo '99 and i'm wondering if i can use castrol SAF-X (75w-140 full synthetic) for my gearbox and diff?

Use the Syntrax mentioned above mate but i was advised to use a slightly thicker oil for the diff.Most people just put the same in both but i do what i'm told! lol
