Question

After searching around on the old BBS, I have come to the conclusion that the Lambda sensor on my STi v3 needs replacing.

I'm using Shell Optimax juice and getting 15mpg with pretty normal / occaisonal heavy footed driving.

Novice Questions are:
Where is it on the car?
Where can I buy a replacement? (GGR/Park Lane/?)
Is it easy to fit?
Most importantly - how much?

cheers,
dave

Hi,

It's located near the top of the downpipe joint to the turbo. It's a 22mm spanner to undo it and has a platic plug which is disconected at the other end. It can be obtained from a subaru dealer. You may have to remove your intercooler to access it.

Hope this helps

Chris

I'm sure Sam Elassar said you could buy one at Halfords for a lot less.
