Dump Valve
If you get a vent to air dump valve, performance will be down as the ECU gets confused as the airflow meter sees a large increase in airflow that is not entering the engine.
The performance loss can be minimised by an dump to air valve closing just after lifting off the accelerator. But that will affect the performance of the dump valve. The dump valve is only there to protect the turbo, it's not a performance improving part.
I'm sure that people will post disagreeing about the performance loss, but if you take time to understand how the turbo system works it's pretty obvious that it will.
