where is the dccd ecu please?

hi everybody, i am stripping this 2003 jdm sti for my project. it is time to get the dccd box out but don't know where the ecu is located. anyone? the wires from the switch is going behind the dashboard. should i trace them too? are they vital?

Have a search at the base of the steering column towards the centre of the car. The ecu is quite big so you can't miss it!
