Front-mount Intercooler + oil cooler?
#1
Hi everyone,
My first experience at the rolling-road (Power Engineering) has got me thinking about modifications for my Prodrive RB5. Is the following a good plan?
1. install front-mount intercooler kit.
2. can an appropriately sized oil-cooler be installed in place of the top-mount intercooler? (i.e. taking into account the front-mount pipes)
3. install ram-pod induction kit (i.e. the front-mount would require an induction kit?)
4. irridium spark plug install.
5. Apexi fuel and boost controllers.
What do you think? Based upon todays figures (265bhp + 256ft/lb's torque) would these modifications enable me to *safely* hit 300bhp and X torque? (note, the car must retain it's drivability for every-day use, for 'fun', there should be more of it )
ta,
Matt.
