A local garage who is a dealer for superchips is doing a special
on the boost module for £325 inc vat and fitting. They claim an extra 40bhp. The garage claims it is reliable, but I'm a little apprehensive cause of some of the threads I've read.

Superchips remove fuel cut but if set to sensible boost are okay,I would get an EBC and leave the fuel cut in place.

The superchip itself is about £1 of electronics and a £9 bleed valve.

Not such a special deal now is it?

Avoid like the plague. You NEED your fuel cut.

Depends on what you want out of it. HKS EVC IV gets a good write up and is relatively easy to set up yourself. Apexi AVC-R has more features and a higher price and is said to be a pig to set up by some, but it is also getting near to the price of a Link ECU.
