I retro fitted the dccd from a Type R to my Sti v3 using a 'typical' dccd diagram.

The wire colours are a bit different between modls but the functions are all the same.

Most of the wires serve the dashbooard light dccd indicator, so i ditched that lot.

This brings you down to some basic wires, iirc only about 6 or so!

You must have the 'red' relay, wire to the handbrake switch etc and it all works really well.

Having said all that, i to thought an 'uncontrolled' dccd box will revert 'naturally' to a rear drive torque split which is where my car runs while on the road.
On a hillclimb run I advance the dccd .

With no power supply a DCCD is just a rear biased open diff, if you have no power to the rears (how are you determining that?) it implies the diff is fubar!
