I have a 95 wrx and the gearbox is on the way out.

Is it possible to fit the stronger 6 bolt type off a late classic?

I know i'll have to match the rear diff but what about the linkage? could i use mine or do i need that too? Also what do i do about my mechanical speedo?

The later 'TY754' case (6 bolt) will fit the older 4 bolt engine (mine did)

I believe the mechanical and electronic sensors to the gearbox are the same fitting so the mech cable will fit the 754 box (mine did)
