Default Diffs locked up ?

Hi, i have a wrx 04 and when turning slowly on full lock to either left or right the wheels feel like they are snatching and not turning smootly (like they would if you left a 4x4 with the diffs locked).
Any ideas or is this normal, cant say ive noticed it before ?

Many thanks

James

Not normal, sounds as if the centre diff may have locked up and hasn't released itself....... only ever heard of it on one auto.....
