RA Diff

Iv got a v4 RA and it has a 180 (big diff) will i be able to runn a 6speed gearbox with it or will i need to change it?

From: WRX Sti Version 5 Type RA Limited 230/1000

Version 4 RA (STi & WRX) have 4.444 final drive rear diff & gearbox ratio. 6 speed boxes have a 3.900 final drive

It wouldn't be a straight swap - does your RA have DCCD?

change the diff unit for a 6spd matched one, as its already an R180 spec rear it will be a straight swap

ok sounds good.

i have thort about putting a ppg box on but not sure if either any of these boxs will change how the car pulls throw the gears like the box on it at the mo
