Default clutch slipping -> overboost?

I have a problem with my clutch. It will slip in 5th gear when giving full throttle at around 3.500rpm. Yes, my clutch is ready to be thrown away.

But the problem is that boost pressure, when the clutch is slipping, will raise to 18-19 PSI, when it should stay at 16PSI (ESL chip).

Can a worn clutch cause this overboost? Should I look to something else? The clutch is not good anyway, but I'm afraid I can have any other problem.

Just for the info, when I get this overboost, I don't get any knocking.

What's the price for an API clutch? (I wonder if they will ship it to Spain). From what I have read here is the best option to go...

1.4 bar is a bit high but could be a spike when the engine revs increase during slipping, but if you contact David at API for the clutch ask him about it too.
API mail order the Exedy clutch pack to the UK so Spain should be easy, best call him, he is very user-friendly on such matters.
