MY01 PPP -chip together with Scoobysport decatted exhaust !
#1
Is it possible to fit a PPP chip together with a Full decatted Scoobysport exhaust on a MY01 !!
...I've heared some mindblowing performance figures of it (288BHP with up-pipe and ported headers)!!!
But is this al true,.or are there some difficulties to wait for !!
Who have done this , and is willing to give me some advice before I do this to my own car !!

Mine is not ported, but has ppp with scoobysport stuff and so does my dealer's car. No problems fitting the different exhaust bits or any engine engine concerns, do need £50 gizmo from scoobysport to fool ecu into thinking it still has a cat on downpipe but no problems otherwise. Not RR mine but guess 260 - 275bhp roughly

Had ppp only on the car for a few weeks and was better than standard, pulled up the rev range much smoother and still pulled pass 6000. Got use to power very quickly though. When I had fitted scoobysport bits, plus ITg filter, car was a massive jump in on the road performance. Pulled from slightly lower down the rev range instead of 4,000 as per ppp and had much better punch out of corners (pushed you into seat more). Power just comes on in a rush with both system together and still impressed with power delivery every time I open it up. Noise also adds to sensation of increased speed so if put on rr maybe torque etc might not be as much as it feels, but it's the real world that counts not numbers.

Theo,
I'm running a MY01 with the PPP and fully decatted exhaust including up and down pipes and ported headers. All in all huge improvement over the standard set-up.
Interested in getting feedback re the APS cold air kit benefit as I have heard differing views re its true usefulness with MY01+ models. Has anyone done a before and after comparison?

When I bought scooby bits (up, down and muffler pipe) I think it was £450, but did get other stuff at the same time so might not be dead right.
As for insurance direct line did not increase policy over the original ppp quote.

I can vouch for Scott's car, I followed him the other night & he spat out a lovely half foot flame, with a beautiful blue glow!
I'm sure he's a bit quicker driving than me though his tyres let go (not exactly legal or something was his excuse) LOL....

Nope! Wish I could but looking after my daughter for the weekend & she'd rather go to Kids Kingdom....I'm trying to get her into cars but it's like
Dad "Lets play Tweenies", I even showed her how to wire a plug today & she managed to squeeze her fingers with the wire strippers!!! What do you expect when she's 3?
Another weekend & I could have done it!! Thanks for asking !! But rolling roads & all that you have to take the engine above 3k....& you know what I'm like with mpg!!!

Will not be able to go to P.E and will no doubt miss the Jan Scooby Snacks meet thru work . Will have to try Feb, I am determined to get that ride though, especially if you're shooting flames
