A problem or not??

A problem or not??
Was driving down a hill today and thought I'd cool the engine/turbo so depressed the clutch and rolled down the hill towards home.
I noticed my revs were at a constant 1100rpm even though clutch was depressed.
Anyway, I thought it was strange so put the car in neutral (still with clutch depressed and still rolling downhill), the revs dropped to idle rate. Put the car back into gear (still with clutch depressed) and rpm increased to 1100 again.
Is this a sign of a problem with the clutch/gearbox? It's as if the clutch isn't fully disengaging even though it is fully depressed....?

Think its to do with the neutral position switch which increases the revs slighly when in gear to prepare for your move off, nothing to worry about.
Gaz
P.S. dont leave your foot on the clutch pedal you will wear out the the release bearing quicker as well as the thrust bearing in the engine.

Nothing to worry about. The ECU is programmed to increase idle air flow when road speed is detected to reduce emissions on overrun below 1500 rpm (above that fuel is shut off). Sometimes you might notice that when you stop the revs are at 1100 then drop to normal idle after a couple of seconds.
Another feature that causes occasional complaint/concern is revs rising on gear changes and this is again ECU programming to reduce emissions. I once had a Fiesta where I disconnected the road speed detector as these features were so annoying and the car drove much better but threw up an ECU fault code due to loss of an input.
Not sure if anyone manages to delete these features when remapping.
