Default DCCD Swap ?

Hi,
I recently damaged my rally car (STI RA V2) Which has DCCD,
However the car i've replaced it with has no DCCD or front LSD (terrible on gravel)
Now, Is it possible to swap my Gearbox, and have DCCD on the new car.
The new car (new to me, 1993 WRX RA) has 4.1 Diffs,(according to gearbox code) and smaller rear half shafts, so i imagine i'll have to swap, Gearbox, Rear Diff, and rear half shafts ??
How does the wiring join up ? Will i have to take all the clocks, and wires from the damaged car ? Does it have a seperate ECU for the DCCD ?
Sorry for all the questions !!

IMHO:
Yes to all your questions. I think the Sti V2 had a separate DCCD wire loom to the dccd ecu which could be under the passengers seat ot at the base of the steering column.
Much of the loom is to get the dash position indicator to work.

I installed dccd to my non dccd Sti v3..never again.

Can i ask why?is it just because it was difficult to install or because it was a waste of time, ive never used the dccd in my car always thought it was a bit gimmicky tbh

I have a GpN Gravel Rally car, and it's absolutely needed in that, the difference this weekend was astounding. Especially with no front LSD in the car i have now.

I have a P1 road car, and even driving the rally car on the road, there isnt much difference, so i think for the road , DCCD isnt much use. but for snow, gravel etc... it's very good.

In my opinion anyway.

But I know i really struggled with the car this weekend with no DCCD, although the handbrake worked mint, as apposed to the car with DCCD the handbrake is useless, but i think thats due to it not having a handbrake release switch or something.

IMHO:
Alex is dead right.
My Sti v3 is a road/hillclimb car no rough stuff, and i think that is why my opinion of the dccd is low.
Make no bones about it though, the effect on the car's attitude on tarmac can be very sharp and very negative if set too tight.

My car now has no front lsd (thank god).
