Question

My my97 WRX has produced error code 24 when connecting the two black connectors under the dashboard when trying to clean the boost control solenoid. With info taken from http://www.xmission.com/~dac/library/codes.htmthe Air Control Valve is faulty. Is this the same valve that http://www.mrtrally.com.au/performance/docs/WRX-V5.pdf call the Idle Air Control Solenoid Valve? on page 38. And could this be connected to a problem I am getting in that the car boosts to about .9 bar then all of a sudden drops to .5 bar and does not recover?.
All onfo really appreciated.
