Will later 6 speed drive shafts fit classic hubs?
Got hold of a later 6 speed box which has the splined stubs as part of the driveshafts not the gearbox.
Got the box, rear diff, prop and driveshafts.
Going to be fitting it into a V5 Type R and wondered wether the current hubs will accept the drive shafts or not?

Hope thats the case as most people just change the box, prop and diff and use their shafts from what ive read.
However this box came from an 06+ and have been told (not 100%) that i may need to use a later hub, ideally an STi 7 (no later) to keep the correct PCD etc...
Anyone confirm this?

You can just transfer the later inner CV's onto your STi5 front shafts - Then you won't have any problems fitting them to the hubs.
I had to do this when i fitted a WR1 box to my classic.
