Question Thrust Bearing

I have a 1995 sti ra and it has a 6 puk paddle clutch on it. The standard thrust bearing has been totally recked in under 1000 miles due to the launch starts i give the car. Does anyone make an uprated thrust bearing which fits exactly the same way as the standard subaru one?? Thanks for the help

Take it you mean the release bearing in the clutch cover, or the spigot bearing in the centre of the flywheel?? as the thrust bearing is in the crankcase??

I'm not sure how the release bearing is damaged by your starts, it only operates the clutch there is no load on it from torque...

All i know is that i had it fitted by a subary engineer (So it was done properly before any one asks) and i have done 1000 miles, 500 of that was running the engine in after the rebuild and the bearing is shagged. Got the box out at the momen and clutch off. The release bearing is no good you can feel how rough it is when you spin it in your fingers. Any way i am not really bothered what caused it i just want to know if anyone makes an uprated one for the standard fitment, if not i will just get a standard one. But its better to see if there is a stronger one out there.

thanks
