I posted this couple of weeks ago. Has any other MY01 STI owner noticed a whining between 3600-4000rpms? Only related to engine speed. It is not power steering, alternator or aircon as I have removed these belts and the noise is still there. Also, this noise only happens when the engine is fully warmed up after 10mins or so of driving.

I don't think that its only my car, as 3 other owners I've spoken to have the same thing to varying degrees.

Any other inputs/feedback greatly appreciated.
