The car has done 11.5k miles, no full power starts driven with respect to the clutch. It has a full ss exhaust ( no cats) and runs with a bottle of millers to a tank of optimax. The problem is clutch slip in the higher gears when the car is relatively cold. (no it does not get driven hard from cold) Once the car has a few more miles on it the clutch is fine, no slip however hard you drive.
Does this mean the clutch is shot?
Or i think i am right in thinking it runs a wet clutch, does the fluid/oil need changing?
Any knowledge would be very much appreciated, many thanks Keith.

Sti V clutches do not tend to grip properly over the full surface - mine was the same - it seemed to survive well - but juddered when cold

Now I have an AP clutch - very nice!

Try a bit of reversing, sometimes this works as a temporary measure.

Keith,

No advice I am afraid but my V5 does exactly the same when cold but cures itself when warmed up and it too doesn't get abused. The car has done just over 30k. I read in the FAQ that it was common with these clutches... Like Trout, an AP is next up when it finally does give up the ghost, but for now I drive it "extra" slow when warming her up
