What turbo on my M98 WRX (non STI)?

Question

As in the subject above. Also, if it was Garret rated, what would it be equivalent to ? - ie the Volvo T5 has a T5 (I should think) and the Escort Cosworth has a T4 (at least some models I'm told) etc.

IHI VF29 is fitted to the MY99, it has a small plate on the compressor outlet with details to that effect. Have a look at the compressor outlet, you can just see it past the heat shield. If it's not there you can probably discount it being a 29.

I don't know for sure but it MAY be VF28?
