just got hold of a new gearbox and rear diff for my Impreza turbo Uk version MY00

Hopefully installing it on saturday...

I also got some new gear oil to put in the gearbox and rear diff
I got 5 litres of Motul Gear 300 75-90
Would this be prefect for the box and diff



Anyone shed any light on this cheers

The gearbox will take 4.5 litres and the diff will take 3 I think. Could be wrong, check the owners manual for the figures then add a little.

 

Gearbox takes 4, rear diff takes just under 1L. Have always found that castrol syntrax works wonders with the impreza box.
