Default Long wheel studs

Anybody bought long studs? if so were did you get them. So far I have been quoted 70 quid for 20.

Roger Clark also keeps them, but advised me against using them if possible, because of the increased strain on other parts due to the extra forces involved

I have no choice but to fit them as I'm not getting enough thread through the wheel nuts. I think the minimum is the dia of the tread, ie a 12mm stud thread would need 12mm of nut screwing on but I'm just under this. The back's are just within but since fitting the Godspeed brakes the fronts are looking a bit dodgy.

I had the car serviced at HDC subaru and thay agreed the fronts were on the limit.
