WRX 2004 no engine mods totally standard, serviced, oil always checked loved like a child and last night it started to rattle under load in the centre of the engine. Tickover is quiet as a mouse but rev it and you get a nasty noise
Hoping its covered under subaru warranty but if it isnt I might need some help and advice as to where to go for fixing.
Its had a cambelt change and ive been told it could be the crankshaft and bearings that are the fault. HELP

 

New short engine required, luckily looks like its all going to be done under warranty
Anyone heard of a newage going with this at such low miles 48000?
Even the dealer couldnt believe
