De-CAT downpipe

I fitted a PE de-CAT downpipe (T75) to my MY97 5-door last week.

Much faster spool up of the turbo, more power throughout and much more low down torque.
The rest of the system is standard and the down pipe makes very little difference to the noise level (maybe a very slightly deeper exhaust note).
I can't vouch for other makes but this is a very easy way of transforming the drivability of the car.
The only down side is that the turbo heat sheild now rattles against the steering column when giving it some in first
I foresee a happy few hours 'modifying' the heat sheild in the near future.
