I ran my Modena box with Silkolene Syntran 5 but had a plated diff in there as well.
Dog boxes (assuming straight cut gears) only really need the clutch to get you off the mark, once rolling and as long as you are fast and positive with the engagement of the next gear they should drop in.
Som people will tell you to use the clutch for downshifts but its down to how aggressive you need to be and whether you can afford new bits for the box?
