Car wont go in to gear???

Default Car wont go in to gear???

Hello peeps, ive just taken the Type r out to fill her up and on return the car simply would not go in to gear

Checked fluid...all is good, was not driveing it hard at all as Tesco is just round the corner.....clutch seems ok and no burning smell.......had to call out Mr AA who did not have a clue and Bought me home

I'm due a trip to API tommorow so please any suggestions

mine did exactley the same when it stripped second gear all the bits that were left jammed rest of gears up but i was ragging it at the time

Could try completly draining the oil, see if there is any bits in it

Thats the plan, waiting for my mates to show and then get it on my ramp

What oil do i refill it with mate??

My honest advice though TBH as you are already going there, is to get the car to API, when it comes to gearboxs (and most other stuff) David knows his onions.

Fingers crossed it may just be a linkage.

If not then I woud be tempted to put the old stuff back in

*********UPDATE***********

Took oil out last night and i could hear things falling in to the tray?

Waited untill empty and had a better look and i have metal pieces the size of 1 pence pieces

What i dont understand is that how come the car drove find to the Petrol ststion and then decided to shatter the G box??

Looks like any cash i had to modify the car will go toards a new box, will call API once i've had some breakfast

Ooo! Sorry to hear that bud. Atleast you'll be able to replace it with a nice re-con box from api.... and it will be done right first time!
