Clutch Biting Point

Clutch Biting Point
Hi, I have a MY05 WRX STI PPP and I'm finding 1st and 5th Gear a bit notchy and not going in as smoothly as the other gears when the car is moving. When stationary it is fine. I have noticed other Scooby owners are experiencing similar problems.
Just out out of curiosity, where abouts is your biting point on the clutch supposed to be on the Scoobs? Mine in around 75 - 80% from its depressed position, only that in my previous car, a Civic Type R the gears were so smooth and the biting point was lower than that of the Scoob so I was thinking again that the clutch might need adjusting or something as it might not be fully engaging when pressed.

Unless it's changed since the MY02STI, the STI gearbox is quite notchy and can be very difficult to get in the lower gears when cold and moving. I don't think i've had any problem with 5th gear though.
I'm not sure I ever get in to 5th when the engine is cold though; built up areas and all that...
My clutch sounds about the same as yours.
