IKEYA FORMULA SHIFTER AND PADDLE SHIFT
Hi all,
I am considering to install the IKEYA sequential shifter on my 6 speed straight cut gearbox. Does anybody use this shifter? How quick is it?
Also with that I will be able to install the Magnaparva e-shift system, paddle shifting, like the RCM car. Does anybody know how user friendly is that system? The car is a hillclimp racing car.
Anybody has expirience with this system or happened to talk to RCM guys and see their opinion?

You will not find any because they (Ikeya) dont AFAIK make a shifter for the subaru, which doesn't use a cable shift but a direct linkage. The RCMS sequential box is a complete system with modified gear internals, it is not a matter of adding the lever your existing box. The e-shift system could be used with a proper sequential system as found on the RCMS box, but not used reliably with an Ikeya shifter if they ever made one for a subaru.
In short, there is no easy way to fit a sequential shifter to a subaru, let alone an paddle operated one.
