What rear diff did the WRX type RA 95 come with?, as I'm wanting to fit a STi RA dccd gearbox and all necessary parts. But unsure if I had a R180 mechanical rear LSD (4.444 final drive) already.

I think you will find it is a plated R160 with a 3.9 drive ratio.
Is your original box # TY752VB3EA? That box is a 3.9.

This data is for an Impreza WRX RA model year '95.

I have a 95 RA with that trans code and the rear wheels go in opposite directions (when jacked up) indicating a viscous lsd.......?

Yes.

Sti has short ratio's. visc lsd in the rear and open front diff, no dccd.
Sti RA has dccd and plated rear diff, open front
WRX I think (not sure) has open front, no dccd and open rear?
WRX RA has open front, no dccd, plated rear with very short ratio's.

There are plated lsd options too in amongst this mine-field!
