If it were me I'd call a dealer and ask the parts dept for the price of the CV joint and then ask the service dept how much to supply and fit, you can then see how much you'll get stung for labour.

You'll then have a good idea of costs and whether it worth doing yourself or get a knowledgeable friend to do it for some beer tokens or whether to phone around other garages to get a better deal.
