Question What exhaust is this?

I do know it is old, about 2002, a 3'' straight through and was a de-cat.
Really good quality, and came off a rally car in Wales when it was upside down....

Could be German?

I would like to get a good sport cat for it, hence the question.
Any ideas??

It looks a wee bit like a revolution one, in the way that it's made up of several bits and the removable flange at the dp end.

Does the centre pipe have the word OUTOKUMPU on it in black ink?

If it does it will probably be a Revolution one as thats what my classic Revolution exhaust says on it.

Excellent Damo.
The d/p bolt flange/center pipe is quite unique, and I'm interested to find a sportcat d/p for the system.
I now have a Graham Goode 'ebay special' second hand sport cat system but it is nowhere as good as this old one in construction (it is very light mind!)

I think they use that arrangement so they can fit a reducer flange to make it 2.5 inch if needed to fit any other 2.5 inch downpipe...but could be talking utter rubbish.

Revolution sell their own Sport cat but I think it narrows to 2.5 inch however it's hard to tell from the picture.

Have you thought about welding in a 100 cell 3 inch cat to the 3 inch downpipe? Would there be any draw backs to doing this?

Thanks to all.
Findind a true 3'' sport cat for a classic is easy if you pay the price as it is a custom fabrication.
H&S do one for £500
Milltek will do the same, but special order (£££)
The reasonably priced ones are all 3 to 2/5'' from China so cheap.

The only way to avoid fitting probs is to buy the whole system with the cat (hence my ebay special), but if I could get a sport cat for the 3'' 'Revolution' I can ensure a good fit. This is why I needed to identify it.

You can weld one in, but it is very hard to get it all very very accurate so it all fits!

Graham.
