Default Wheel bearing info....has the correct one been fitted?

This is a bit of a long story so please bear with me

I put my car into a main subaru dealership to get a new wheel bearing fitted to the rear n/s, it took them 3 wks and caused me countless problems.

My car is a subaru impreza STI V5 WRC edt My99, except i have been told by subaru that the rear hub fitment is not the one that was originally fitted to the chassis number of my car , this i am not sure of tho. My car has single pot rear callipers fitted and i believe this to be the same items as fitted to a standard spec JDM STi V5, but not the Type R.

The bearing that got fitted by the dealer i was told is a GX bearing with part number S28016FC001, however is this right for my car, as this was done less than a month and covered 800 miles and now sounds like it needs to be replaced.

If anyone knows whether the above part number is suited for my car or what the correct part is then i would be greatful. I have been told there are lots of different bearings available, is this correct tho? BTW the bearings that fit a Type R do not fit.

I can be contacted on 0141 957 2224 to give further details if required

Thanks
