Bolt snapped on pressure plate.
Hi,
A few weeks ago, me and a friend fitted a new cluch to his car. During the process of fitting the clutch, one of the seven or eight (Can't remember) bolts snapped off which holds the cover (Pressure plate) to the flywheel. The rest of the bolts were tight though, and the pressure plate was sitting flat against the flywheel around the edges.
We did try to get the snapped piece of bolt out of the flywheel... but we couldn't get it out, so we built everything back up.
The car is driving fine, with no problems at all. My question is, does anybody think this will have any kind of affect?
Thanks for any feedback,
