Suggestions to ID ratios
I've got a new 6 speed...the code is TY856WVCAA which seems to be a 2006 ish spec, non-DCCD box.
I've heard that the MY06 boxes are moving back to reduction gears in the rear end...specifically a 1.1:1 possibly...meaning my final drive in the diff might need to be 3.545.
Also, I'm not sure the 5th and 6th ratios are the close JDM ratios or the US taller ones.
Ideas to help? I've thought of turning splines, but as they are all female on the front diff, I can't easily see 1 x rotation.
And because the rear *might* have a reduction drive, I'm not sure what to read off it.
Thanks,
Matt

Thanks, I've searched, but the usual code lists are not that up to date, and this seems to be out of a newish car.
Although, reading the 22B forum, there's another member there that sounds like he's got the same box, but he was told it's out of an MY05 Legacy.
Hmmm...the plot thickens.
THanks,
Matt
