Default Gearbox oil level

Hi fellas

Had my box oil changed recently but the level is showing at the min point.

How much oil between min and max levels? It's a 2001 WRX 5 speed.

Can I add oil through the dip stick tube and how do you do it without getting it everywhere?

Thanks

How

The capacity is 4 litres so there shouldn't be more than 1 litre from min to max. Make sure you take the reading when the car is on a dead level bit of ground.

The oil goes in the dipstick hole. You can either take the intercooler off or get a long necked funnel (I got one from halfords).
