Hi All.

This is my 1st post here, I am posting on behalf of a friend.

This moring I had a phone call saying that he has lost 3rd gear, I don't know anything about the workings of scoobys, But I do know that Automatic Gearboxes work from Hydraulic Pressure. So I said to him it could be 1 or all of3 things, Old gearbox oil, dead clutch / plate, or problem with the gearbox ecu if it has one.

You are probley going to what to know what scooby it is, I don't know atm, the only thing I do know is that it's a Jap Inport and that it is an (M) Reg, If you need more details I will try and get them.

So I would like to know a few things if possible please.

(1) Where is the gearbox drain plug(s).
(2) What type & grate of oil to use in the Autobox.
(3) How much oil to put in.
(4) If the gearbox is likey to have a ECU.

The more info you can give me the more I can pass onto my friend.
