Question Midlands Transmission Specialists>>??

can anyone recommend a good/reasonable place for transmission work in the west midlands area??.
My car is a 93 impreza wrx, auto and it jumps out of gear, with a terrible crunching and whirling sound!!
Will appreciate any help and advice.

Would that be for the Auto car you had listed on Ebay?

Give David O'Brien a ring at API, Harbury Warwickshire. He may have a spare gearbox.

thnx for the recommendation .. i have also found a spare box for 200 pounds, with warranty .. but i would want to confirm the problem before i end up getting one.

It drove normal in the morning .. but slipped back out with similar noises while going back into the garage ??

booked my car with justsupercars in yardley, birmingham and after 4 days, the car is back on the road!

Couldnt find a torque converter so ended up buying a complete box. I guess when it comes to auto boxes, i could definitely do with a spare one. Never know when these decide to go!

So far the car is driving fine. A bit sluggish on pickup, but i suspect a boost leak, so will be looking into it over the weekend.
The steering wheel has gone a bit hard though after the work, so i guess there is another visit left.
