I've just done it on the 2.5 STi4.
Hard to tell in the dry at Aintree, which is the only place I've run it since it was fitted. A damp or wet day at Oulton or Croft will give me a better idea.
I am, however, pretty sure that fitting the RA gearbox, which was attached to the DCCD, was a pretty stupid plan though- loopy, fun, but unltimately ridiculous

Its fun, and it will give you far more control on the hills, but it will also give you another variable that can affect your run.
I have trouble remembering to unlock mine after launching on the quarter!

If you say you've cured understeer, then a dccd will just lead to power oversteer surely? I saw a vid of yours and it looked like you were suffering inside wheel lift, but not power understeer?
I think a front diff and plated rear are the way to go to get the power down a bit better.

Rear wheel lift is becoming an issue now, especially at Prescott. Observers saying '12'''...
Some kind of front diff will go into the existing Sti v3 or a donor box, 2 of which i'm chasing now.
Do EVO's have something similar to DCCD?

would probably fit an 'uprated' centre as a min. if your planning on using a front diff.................
less hassle to source and fit than a DCCD and probs more cash friendly........
cheers, alyn
