Question

Recently got my first scoob - my 95 wrx sti and am now wondering which mods i should consider first, have been searching around but cannot find a lot of information as to what the true specifications for the early stis are. Heard rumors and read from other posrs that induction kits can sometimes detract from performance, had previously been looking at HKS options.

Would apriciate any advise on the above and recomended tuning options for more bang for less bucks! - also if anyone knows of a reputable tuners in sth london / kent area that'd be a great help also.

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest visiting bbs.22B.com and doing a search there under induction and exhaust. It is a mine of useful tuning information.

Thumbs up

Decat it and fit an induction kit.

There's loads of systems to choose from but I can recommend the Blitz SUS induction kit and the HKS Hiper muffler. That'll take care of your mid cat, then you need a downpipe.

The HKS is v loud though, so if that's not your cup of tea, I'd go for something else.

I bought the HKS second hand (from here) for £300
downpipes are around £200 fitted
and the Blitz is about £150.

There's plenty of gear for sale like this in the private section.

Those mods should give you a decent hike in BHP
