Default DCCD funny noises

guys im not long after picking up my new sti.first scoob i have had with dccd and to be honest i have'nt used it till yesterday, well not at a full stop anyway.
when putting it into manual the car feel funny pulling of and say pulling out of a junction im getting clicking noises, allmost like a fecked frontwheel drive,cv joint.on auto its spot on,faultless.
i will be going to speak to the dealer asap but a heads up would be nice if you guys have any ideas, the aircon's not working either!
but apart from that,i fecking love it!

Have you got it set too far forward (if so, you will get these noises)!

Read the post on DCCD by John Felstead (you will probably need to search for it)!

Hi, The dealers/Subaru should know the fault with the air con!! I rejected the first car becuse of this and some bodywork damage, only to have the same fault with the second one!!!! The cause is ,so i'm told is that the tracker/alarm is fitted in scotland on 06 models and some di#ksh#t is fitting them in the wrong place fowling the control

the knocking is a standard "feature" of the dccd-a in the sti06 - sounds a bit strange to start with but soon you will love the wheel spin when on lock in a car park - makes the mortals look

seriously though - i was in the same predicament - thought it was a prob and spoke to subaru technical and they assured me all was well.

keep it in auto when in low speed manuevers and wont be a prob
