Left and right are different lengths. The right is slightly longer. I think you'd need to take them off, only way 'I' know is to bush inner and outer CV towards each other to deduce which is longer.

Cheers for the reply i knew they would have to come lol.
I have a pair here and have tried checking the lenghts but they both look the same thats why i asked the question,oh well off to work we go

push both ends of the drive shaft to each other, there will defo be a difference. Stand them up against each other and push them down from the CV...........

not alot, but see-able difference. We had a problem with this with the pre-prodrive grp A legacys, driveshaft popped out a number of times until the difference was known.

Put 'em so that they're standing vertically next to each other, with diff end at the bottom. Push down on the cv's via the splined end, downwards. You should then see the difference in length
