Default Im after some advice please

Afternoon all,

Im wondering if you can help me, my gearbox on my P1 has seen better days so David of API impreza's is supplying me with a rebuilt one, i seem to be miles away from everyone so im having it delivered and im going to tackle the change myself.

I need some advice on changing the box, clutch and flywheel, what needs to be removed etc etc, iv not done one on an impreza before but some friends and i have done on my previous cars. You only learn one way and its something id like to do myself.

Any advice is greatly appreciated

Cheers

It depends wether the box has been off before how long it'll take, it took me, ( a first timer on a scoob) about 2 hrs to get ready to get the box off, and about 4 hrs to actually get the box off itself, the the flywheel, and box refitting was effectively easy....ish! i'd say aloow a damn good day, or ideally, one evening, AND the next day just to be sure!!
