Auto Gearbox Advice..
OK, I am not very technical so I will try and explain this so people know what I mean!
I have just spent the past 9 weeks or so sorting out a replacement auto gearbox for my car.
I picked the car up yesterday and was very pleased to have it back.
I do however seem to have a problem, when I am driving very slowly and making a big turn it feels as though the gears are slipping. When questioned about this I have been informed that this is nothing unusual "even the older Legacy's do this". Something to with a plated rear diff?????
Now I am wondering if I am being given a load of BS and need to get something fixed. I am not sure about a lot with gearboxes but originally when I found the old gearbox was starting to pack in this particular issue was apparent and I was told it was a sign the centre diff was going.
Can anyone please help me with some advice? I don't want to spend any more money on this if I don't have to. I have warranty on the labour and warranty on the parts from elsewhere so I don't know how the two will tie up!
Thanks!
Jules
