First description sounds like the outer CV joint on the end of the driveshaft but then the scraping noise could be the brake disc moving due to a knackered wheel bearing which could also clack about on turns..
Complete driveshafts from Subaru are about £200
Cant remember the cost of wheel bearings though
Labour wise expect 1 hr for the driveshaft and some gearbox oil will also be req'd
Wheel bearing will take longer, guessing 2 ish hrs

Scraping in the actual cabin??
If so, maybe the plastic cowling around the steering column misaligned.
Scrapig noise "transmitted" into the cabin when you turn.. Staitionary or moving only or both??
If stationary as well as moving then it could be something as simple as a slipping drive belt when you load up the steering, or the power steering pump it'self making a noise.
At least you got the clonking sorted.
