Default TSL Tiphoon or H&S Backbox

Based on noise alone what's the better sounding backbox out of :

TSL Ti-phoon
H&S Jap Style

I know it's personal taste but bit torn on which one

Hey Frayz, yep yours sounded fantastic & as I've not heard the Ti-phoon I'll prolly go with the H&S (Don't suppose on of the ESC guys has the TSL). I do like the look of the Ti-phoon but the sound is more important

Cheers

As far as i know mate the typhoon is just a titanium tipped firestorm, if this is the case and im pretty sure it is then Tiny's WRX has one on.

He would be more than happy im sure to let you listen to that.

Mine now has the resonator taken out and its got a lot more growl but not a raspy noise that i find the TSL has.

Personal preferance TBH mate

I have got a Blitz Nur Spec R on my STI 9, and it sounds lovely - a deep growl.

Does anyone know if the Blitz Nur Spec is a lot louder than the Hayward & Scott?

group buy still running on the h&s one so will be a fair bit cheaper than the tsl. they can do you 3" pipework if you wish. if that helps to make up your mind.

Not sure if the H & S is louder, but I have the nur spec catback system which is 3" all the way through, from downpipe - and is loud!
