Can anyone give me a rough estimate of how long it takes to swap a centre diff?

Looking at using the Impreza for track (4wd) and on our drift days at Oulton (2wd) with the use of one of the MRT centre diff replacement thingys.

The other alternative is to find a cheapish dccd I suppose....

It should be do-able with the box in situ.... therefore say 3-4 hrs allowing for prep time..... oh, on proper ramps or similar.....

 

Thanks for that Ron- didn't think it would take that long. I woudn't be doing it myself, and if it will take that long then maybe it isn't my best ever plan

To be honest, it may not ake that long if an experienced techy was doing it.... ie, someone who does that sort of thing all the time....... was being a bit conservative.....

 

It's a case of prop shaft off, back of gearbox off - swap - then reverse process
