It should fit but check the transmission codes, since the MY95 STI RA has a 3.9 front diff, I think your STI has a 4.1 diff. You can swap the front diffs over but your gear ratios will be stupidly short.

Does your 555 have DCCD?
If not then the box will mechanically fit but the dccd will be an issue.
Also, you must check the rear diff ratio. Best get the rear diff with the box.

I put an RA box in my Sti v3 (all non dccd) and the car was slower on the track (faster on the road!)

From that thread, i would have thought it would have mentioned the presence of dccd.
On your dash board disply, in the center, do you have a vertical scale showing the position of the dccd control?
If not, then you don't have dccd.

I use this to check transmission codes, hope that helps.

I "think" you can either take the DCCD off the box and replace it with your own centre diff, or keep the DCCD in and run it without the controller, it would be always open giving you a 65/35 rear baised torque split. I stand to be corrected though
