Gearbox oil capacity?
Hi,
Sorry if this has been asked 100 times before but I couldn't find anything on it.
What is the oil capacity of a 1998 Classic Turbo?
From what I have found, am I right to think that 75/90 semi synth oil (Castrol Syntec) for the gearbox and 0.8 litres of Silkolene BOA 90LS for the rear diff?
Anyone got any good filling tips on how to get the fluid in easily?
Many thanks in advance
Cheers
Andy

Thanks for the reply Tim, why couldn't I find that??!!
How do you know if it's a plated diff or not? I must point out this is the g/f's car and Subaru's aren't my strong point - sorry!!

If it's a standard car you'll only find a plated rear diff if it is a classic Impreza fitted with a DCCD centre differential, ie a japanese market Type R, RA or it's a 22b
