Default neutral switch

Firstly, hi to everyone here, Ive only owned my first wrx since saturday (and what fun it is), apologies to those who waved to me last week in northampton, and i didnt wave back (all new to me, thought id pulled at first ), i am now waving back lol!! (completely standard blue bugeye, weston favel area)

Just got a quick one, id manage myself but my manual hasnet arrived yet.

could anyone describe, or post a pic of where the neutral switch is on my gearbox (02 model), ive got the replacement, know its a simple job, just need to be pointed in the right direction.

cheers in advance guys

Rob,

The neutral position switch is on the rear of the gearbox, on the pass side, about half way up. You need to get right under the car, remove the gearbox undertray and you will see it up past the exhaust.

It would also be a good time to point out we are your local specialist, on the Park Farm industrial area. You might get a flyer one day if you park at the weston favel centre at the same time as my inlaws!

Cheers

Paul
