Are there any clutch tests i can do on my WRX 2003 as i think it might need doing.

Also im getting a sort of whinning sound and dont no if its the gear box or Diff

The car is due a service in a months time or so but thought id ask any way. cheers

 

Put it into 5th with the hand brake on while sitting stationary, try to pull off as normal, if it slips or does anything apart from stall it will need changed.
